Maintaining a productive small farm requires constant attention to animal care and habitat management. Recently, efforts have focused on improving cage cleaning routines and general grounds maintenance in the rabbitry, introducing a new rabbit to the existing group, and getting egg production back to full capacity. At the same time, plans are underway to design a new chicken coop that supports healthier, happier hens and better egg yields.
Task Completed:
General ground maintenance.
General cage cleaning.
Rabbit manure as garden compost.
Egg production in full swing.
Added a new rabbit to the rabbitry.
Still working on new chicken coop.
